Now Life Hurts..God Heals is a new ministry of Broadway United Methodist Church, Bowling Green and is for adolescents in 6th-12th grade. The program will meet every Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the church, 1323 Melrose St. Registration forms are available at the church or by email lhgh@broadwayunited.org.

11/27/08 On Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 27, Eleventh St. Missionary Baptist Church, 1035 Kenton St., Bowling Green, will be serving dinner to those who won’t be having a home-cooked meal on that day. This is for those who are homeless, without jobs, or have no means of providing a meal for the family on that day. They will begin serving at 11 a.m. at the church. 11/28/08 Community Action’s Foster Grandparent Program will have their Annual Holiday Meal Fundraiser Nov. 28, the day after Thanksgiving, at Ryan’s, Bowling Green. Til Futher Notice “Angel Food Ministries” is a monthly program where anyone can purchase $60-$70 worth of groceries for only $30. There are no income restrictions. This is high-quality food that arrives mostly frozen and is distributed by volunteers. All orders are paid by cash or food stamps. Orders are being taken at First Assembly of God in Bowling Green, and Greater Ebenezer Temple in Owensboro, for distribution later in the month.
