2/28/12 Hope House is hosting its 2nd Annual Cooking for Hope. Hope House seeks to alleviate physical and spiritual poverty through gospel restoration by focusing on the needs of the home, neighborhood and the Enterprise Community of Bowling Green. Cooking for Hope will be held at Living Hope Baptist Church’s Connection Center, February 28th 2012 at 6:30 pm. The night will feature dinner prepared by students from the Bowling Green Technical College Culinary Arts Program, live music, silent auction, and the chef’s knock-out competition. 3/3/12 Eagle Flight 5K, will be at Keriakes Park, Bowling Green, KY, on March 3. The 5K run/walk will begin at 9 a.m. and the 1 mile walk will begin at 9:45 a.m. This race will benefit the youth of Dishman-McGinnis Elementary School in providing them with new educational resources and scholarships for college. Registration fee is $20 for walkers and runners which includes ticket to pasta dinner to be held on March 2 at the school.
